![]() ![]() You can find bedding, furniture, clothing and just about anything else that is baby related that has stars or a twinkle, twinkle theme on it. ![]() Since we are going with a twinkle, twinkle little star theme, most of the gifts will represent this theme. Add the words, “Wishing upon a Twinkling Star, has brought an angel into our waiting arms.” “You’re invited to a Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star Baby Shower!” can be printed on the inside, which could be printed on white cardstock and printed in the same blue that covers the front of the card. One suggestion I would make is to have the card printed in a deep blue for the night sky and have silver or gold embossed stars decorating the sky. There are hundreds of star themed baby invitations out there so you really have a lot of choice for your decision. The stars can be used later for a game and photographs can go back to guests when it is time for them to leave. Lastly, you can ask guests to bring baby photos of themselves and paperclip them to cut out stars to place on a wall or hang from the sides of tables and the ceiling. Have some balloons and streamers that have stars on them and find some star confetti to spread on the floor and on tables. Next, have some candles lit to continue the subdued lighting theme throughout the room. Insert white Christmas lights in the fabric to create stars and subdue the lighting in the room for the greatest effect. Start by draping some dark blue sheer fabric on the ceiling to create a night sky. Of course you are going to have stars to reflect the theme but you don’t need to have only stars. ![]() Having a Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star shower can bring this timeless nursery rhyme into the festivities and provide an opportunity to furnish baby’s room in a Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star theme. I can’t count the number of shows featuring nurseries that have the nursery rhyme written on the wall and a hundred little stars painted on the walls and ceiling. Our clients asked for their names not to be mentioned.Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star, is one of the most popular themes when it comes to nurseries and baby showers. Another idea we came up with as an icebreaker to start the party off was to ask all the guests to send a picture of themselves as a baby and everyone has to guess who’s who! This game went down really well with the guests as there were definitely some questionable haircuts and clothing choices!įinally, the moment was here: the gender reveal! As everyone gathered around the cake, the couple cut into it and out poured…blueīonbons, they are having a boy! At the same time everyone had bitten into their cupcake to reveal a blue heart! With only a few months to go until our clients welcome their first bundle of joy into the world, The One Baby team were thrilled to be a part of this moment! We can’t wait to see the baby photos! We filled the middle of the cake with the clients’ favourite sweets: bonbons, of one colour so that when they cut it open, the sweets would pour out and reveal the gender!Īlso, the cupcakes had coloured hearts in the centre so that when you bit into them, the gender would be revealed!Īs with everything we do from baby showers and gender reveals, to proposals and romantic dates, we make everything hand-made so that everything is personal to you and exactly how you imagine it to be. The only neutral element was the cake and cupcakes as it was how our clients wanted to announce the gender of their baby! To keep the guests guessing, there were equal amounts of pink and blue decorations including confectionery, drinks and balloons. Of course we were excited to help and came up with this gorgeous idea to make sure that nothing was given away too early and the guests were kept guessing throughout the party! The theme was centred around the quote: ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, How I Wonder What You Are.’ with glittering stars incorporated into every element. What other way to celebrate finding out the gender of your baby than with a beautiful gender reveal party! Our last client wanted to share this amazing moment with their friends and family but needed our help in pulling it off. ![]()
